Joe Turner's Come and Gone

I am looking forward to seeing Joe Turner's Come and Gone by August Wilson again! It's at the Belasco Theatre. It's been more than twenty years since I first saw it, but it is still vivid in my psyche. The play, set in 1911 Pittsburgh, follows the main character through a heart wrenching search for cultural identity and inner freedom after emancipation from slavery.
